He’s wrong, but also not. My wife used to nanny and one of the kids was allergic to eggs, dairy , fish, and peanuts...Oreo’s were one of the few “regular” products she could eat.

People who think Target’s prices are ridiculous (since some of the items especially for stuff under 10 bucks are like 2x Wal Mart’s) prefer Wal Mart.

I prefer not having security looking over my shoulder as I check out , not winding up seeing somebody’s gross thong peeking out of their ill-fitting pants, not having completely vandalized and dirty bathrooms, and not having garbage literally everywhere in the parking lot.

As a contrast, while this is also true at Target, Wal Mart employees have been super nice to me. Target doesn’t sell 9mm ammunition so that’s what I wind up going there for if I can’t wait for online.

Apparently I’m Gen Z. Time for me to beat on The Brands:

1. Google- I despise them, mostly for their information ethics. I use them for my school email, which has become my main email, because that’s what we have to use. I use their search engine, because it’s better than anything else. I use Bing for that. Google is extremely pervasive, but I try to avoid their products. However my phone is Android, because Apple also sucks.

2. Netflix- I have my family’s account. I do not use it. There’s not much on there I’m interested in except Archer.

3. Youtube- It’s Google, see above.

4. Amazon- I don’t even have an account. Fuck Jeff Bezos.

5. Oreo- h ot take inbound: Oreos are fucking gross. They’re overly sweet and make you teeth look gross. The best Oreo, IMO, is a regular stuff Golden Oreo, or a Golden Oreo Thin if you can find them. The creme is the worst part of an Oreo.

6. Playstation- don’t have one. No time for video games anyways.

7. Walmart- the worst part of Walmart? Not the wages, waste, or anti-competition actions. It’s the smell. Cannot stand it.

8. Target- it’s Walmart for people who live in the suburbs. There isn’t one near me, so I don’t go there.

9. Doritos I fucks with. Protip: taco flavored Doritos, and dip em in salsa con queso. 10/10.

10. Nintendo- again, I don’t care for video games, but Zelda and Pokemon are my jam. I don’t use any system newer than a Gamecube, though.

Every store, especially chains have their problems, and Walmart tends to have more problems due to their desire to be (and remain ) the biggest retail operation on the earth.

Because of its goal to have cheaper prices, Walmart has forced manufacturers to move jobs from the US to China to be able to get down to the price point that Walmart requires to carry their products.

And they have constantly ranked as the no. 1 in the number of employees who receive SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) assistance.

Those two reasons are enough for me to not want to spend my money there.
